There are a couple of things that I don’t do as a photographer, among them weddings and pregnancy shoots. As a person there is also another rule that I hold dear: when a friend asks you a favour, you do what you can!
Last year one of my most valued friends asked me to do some portrait wedding photos of his daughter. At that time unfortunately I couldn’t make that work… . So when S., my friends daughter, asked me a few weeks ago if I would take some photos of her pregnancy, I knew I would be glad to do that: making the three of us happy!
It was nice catching up on local gossip, life, education of kids and I’m very happy with the results of this “out of my comfort zone“ shoot.
Now, don’t y’all come asking me friends favours all of a sudden!
I also got other rules to protect me. 🙃
