Red Market

Another team shot for Red Market, this time with the Liege (Jemeppe Sur Meuse) crew!

Shooting group portraits is always a challenge, certainly this one, because you’re working from a side perspective.
So there’s 18 people that need to be sharp in the picture, and there’s a length difference of about 8 – 9 meters between the first & last person in the row.
Next to that, having so many people with different skin tones is always tricky to choose the optimal balance in post processing. I think we did a fine job.

Red Market Group Portraits

Group portraits are always a bit of a challenge, especially on location. You need lots of space, enough lighting, a big white background in this case and focus on details. Sharpness is another important point of attention: depending on the angle of the shot and the number of people.
For Red Market I was asked to make group portraits of every new store team, to insert in the welcome invitation at the opening of a new store. I’m still waiting for the final lay out of the invitation, but you can already see a “lean and mean” “Behind the scenes” sequence below:
